This Velda pond protector extension set introduces a new, quite efficient method to keep herons and cats away from your pond. By surrounding the pond with a harmless electric wire, herons are prevented from approaching the pond and catching fish. The transformer (not included) gives off a low voltage (and harmless) electric pulse to the fence around the pond. When they touch it, not only herons but also cats will receive an electric shock, and avoid the pond in the future. The electric wire supplied is enough to protect 40 m of pond edge with 2 wires. Delivery includes ten 60 cm long synthetic stakes, one 80 m long electric wire and connectors. Note: Instruct children not to play around the electric fence. When working in or around the pond, it is advisable to unplug the device.
