The Ubbink PL-7W replacement bulb for AlgClear UVC devices provides a longer UV light exposure, it eliminates the pesky algae from your pond, and makes green water crystal clear again! The UV steriliser utilises a germicidal fluorescent lamp that produces light at a wavelength of approximately 254 nanometers. When the water passes over the bulb and is exposed to this wavelength, most algae and bacteria are eliminated.
